06/2024

Dear members,

even if the weather is not really on our side these days – summer is here! We hope you have already had some nice trips in your MG and have been able to enjoy the time a little.

We have an update of the event calendar for you, which is again well filled with dates. Then we will also send you the report of this year’s general meeting from the museum in Diekirch, which you can download from this link.

Upcoming events – Apart from the Noggin’ and Natter on 17 July, we currently have no pure MG Car Club MeetinGs in our programme for July – our teams are in full #EEOTY24 fine-tuning mode. The various activities are divided up, here are the team leaders of the different groups.

Reception service at the Parc Hotel Alvisse: Sandy Leysen
Car park crew and other signposters: Christopher Leysen
Gymkhana (Friday): Thierry Hick & Fredry Maathuis
Rocker Cover Race: Team Bronhorst from the Netherlands
Concours d’état and Public’s Favourite: Petra de Bruxelles

Rally teams: Jeannot Staff & Eric Tanson

We are still looking for volunteers for these teams, but also for all other activities that arise. Therefore, here is the link to our volunteer form again:

But you can also still register for the European Event itself – we still have places available! Just check out the following link,

There you will find the complete programme again, you can calculate your price and book right away!

Our friends from the Belgian MG Owners Club warmly invite our members to MG Day 2024. On 21 July, they will be celebrating 100 years of MG, but also 20 years of BMGOC!

As a replacement for the legendary LeJog Rally, our club colleague Horst Pokroppa and Pieter Hennipman have planned the British Odyssey, which will also lead from Langs End in Cornwall to John o’ Groats in Scotland in December.

You can find the flyer for this event here – if you are looking for a special experience, you will not be disappointed with this rally!

So far for now, the MGGCL board wishes you a good start to the summer!

If you can’t make it to the EEOTY24, we warmly recommend the Special Noggin’ and Natter on 21 August. We will meet at the Pulcinella 2 Restaurant in Capellen. Please register with Christopher Leysen, see calendar.
