This year we will follow 3 rivers on the territory of the ancient « Grand-Duché de Luxembourg », which are generally less known by residents, but offer many interesting features.

Start is at 9.15 on the « Maxpoint » parking at Windhof (Capellen) from where we will drive to Arlon, then on to Virton and Montmédy with its impressive Vauban-fortress. We will then follow the river Chiers for a while, before turning towards the Meuse. In Stenay, which has a charming towncentre, we will visit the « European Beer Museum » and have a small tasting at the end.

On to Sedan and its medieval fortress, from where we will then drive into Belgium and the very picturesque valley of the river Semois where a lunch is programmed in Alle-sur-Semois.

Starters: Tarte de Saumon frais et fumé

Main Course : Filet Mignon façon Rossini
Pâtes parfumées huile truffe blance
foie d’oie chaud, sauce truffe

The afternoon will take us to Bouillon, for a visit of this small town with yet another impressive medieval fortress. Following the River Semois, we will make it back to Arlon and then again Windhof where the Tour ends.

For those that like, a table can be booked at Restaurant Bräiläffel in Kleinbettingen for dinner.
